Heliopolis Passenger List in Searchable Excel Format

The passengers list that I have obtained from the PGS is in the process of being transcribed and will be available in excel format shortly. This will allow for easier searches and sorts. I will update this blog when I receive the file and if you'll send me an e-mail I'll be happy to send you a soft copy.

    Both my maternal and paternal grandparents, along with their children, sailed from Malaga, Spain to Hilo, Hawaii.
    I heard stories of the hardships they endured due to the weather, crowded conditions, unfamiliar food and lodgings on board. They appreciated the opportunity to work in Hawaii and eventually my maternal grandparents settled in San Mateo County, California. Thank you for your devotion to this manifesto. My family is on there somewhere -some of their names are misspelled and I have had to hunt to connect them to our family. Overall - great job!!

    My Family came on the same path. Ended up in San Francisco, Then San Carlos. Those poor people!
