This blog contains information regarding the S.S. Heliopolis which sailed from Malaga, Spain to Honolulu in March 1907. She was carrying Spanish emmigrants, who were enticed by the Hawaiian sugar producers, as laborers with the promise of wages and land in return for good work and conduct. This passenger list is a reproduction provided by the son of one of those passengers and may be very helpful in your geneological search for Spanish ancestors who lived in Hawaii in the early 1900s.
